Penchansky collaborated with John Loecke and Jason Oliver Nixon, of John Loecke Inc., to design her home. Penchansky spotted this headboard at a Paris flea market several years ago. She was living in a one-bedroom apartment in Manhattan at the time and had no room for it, but purchased it anyway. “It was like one of those romantic comedies where the character sees something and it just has to be theirs,” she says.

Located in the French Quarter, the American bistro specializes in high-end cuisine and cocktails. Penchansky’s favorite dish is the Chick-Sylvain. “It’s such an indulgence,” she says.
